The following are conditions we treat that may cause hip pain:

PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME

Piriformis syndrome involves the sciatic nerve and the piriformis muscle. The piriformis is a narrow muscle that lies within the gluteal muscle with the sciatic nerve passing underneath. The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body, and when the nerve becomes irritated by the muscle, it can send shooting pain in the buttocks or thighs, a tingling sensation, or even numbness. Regenerative medicine are of considerable benefits, all while being less invasive and more effective.

SACROILIAC JOINT DYSFUNCTION

SI joint dysfunction are generally caused by trauma to the sacroiliac joint area. Patients may feel mild to severe pain in the lower back which may manifest on both sides of the body. SI pain can also occur if a patient has undergone a lumbar fusion procedure due to an injury. Prolonged sitting typically aggravates the pain and many patients find it necessary to rise and stretch if they are seated for an extensive amount of time.

ISCHIAL TUBEROSITY BURSITIS

Ischial tuberosity bursitis occurs when the bursa which lies next to the ischial tuberosity gets inflamed. It may be caused by long distance or frequent running, especially in a person that does not perform exercise on a daily basis. It may also be caused by extensive periods of sitting, particularly on hard surface. Regenerative medicine are of considerable benefits, all while being less invasive and more effective.

OSTEONECROSIS OF THE FEMORAL HEAD

Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) means death of the bone of the head of the femur. Regenerative medicine has created a more effective orthopedic option for treating ONFH, which results in decreased pain and shortened recovery periods.

TROCHANTERIC BURSITIS

Trochanteric bursitis is caused by irritation or swelling of the bursae at the outside portion of the hip known as the greater trochanter. The condition usually involves pain in the lateral hip area and increased pain when pressure is put on the area such as sleeping on one side or walking.

GREATER TROCHANTERIC BURSITIS

Trochanteric bursitis is a condition among the more common causes of chronic hip pain. This injury occurs when the bursa, a structure within the hip located next to the femur, becomes inflamed. It may result in sharp pains in the hip joint. The bursa is key to the proper functioning of the hip joint. This pain often prevents people from performing everyday activities. However with regenerative medicine, stem cell treatments can provide tremendous results without the painful and invasive surgical methods.

HAMSTRING STRAIN

There are various treatments available for treating or relieving pain caused by a hamstring injury. Regenerative medicine focuses on treating the condition itself rather than masking the pain. For instance, stem cell therapy can effectively manage and even totally eliminate pain associated with a hamstring sprain.

HIP JOINT ARTHRITIS

Living with hip joint arthritis on a daily basis can be very frustrating. Patients that suffer with arthritis have the chance to rebuild and regenerate the cartilage and fluid within their hip joints, therefore improving and even potentially curing their arthritis. Many doctors are beginning to find stem cell treatment extremely compelling and are excited to explore how regenerative medicine can improve the lives of those living with arthritis.

SYMPHYSIS PUBIS PAIN

Prenatal symphysis pubis pain has been described as mild to severe pain in the pelvic region, specifically in the pubic region and occasionally alone the inside of the upper thigh. It is estimated 10 to 30% of pregnant woman suffer from prenatal symphysis pubis pain. Since this is a relatively understudied area, regenerative medicine may improve the chances of quick relief from pregnancy-related pelvic pain.

RECTUS FEMORIS BURSITIS

Rectus Femoris Bursitis is caused by an inflammation of the bursa located at the beginning of the rectus femoris muscle near the anterior hip. The bursitis usually leads to pain and swelling at the anterior hip region and limited movement of the hip joint.
